RETAINER POLICY
To secure your date/services, we require a signed contract and non-refundable 50% retainer.
The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable. Your retainer will be non-refundable for reasons including but not limited to; date change, cancellation of wedding/event, weather, illness, change of services, etc.

Payment policy
Remaining balance is due in full on or before (30) days before event date. If the event date is booked less than (60) days before, the full balance is due at time of booking and is non-refundable. If a client has an outstanding balance due at 48 hours to event, services will not be rendered, and void as per the client and service terms.
CONTRACT Policy
A contract will be signed by the client booking services for a particular session and will specify all details of the event (date, time, location, services desired, how many clients, etc.) If the client desires additional service changes after a contract has been signed and is in place, it will be done at the sole discretion of Vancouver Mobile Makeup + Hair. We may be able to add services, but won't be able to remove services if it makes the total go under our minimum booking. We will do an addendum to the contract if we make changes that will need to be signed immediately to confirm such changes requested. The contract with all details and policies will be emailed to the client and returned back with retainer payment. Each client is given a 5 day courtesy to complete their booking in full. If we do not receive your booking contract and payment within that time, then your date will be added back as an open day on our calendar to other clients.
LATE POLICY
We do our very best to make sure we are on time for all our clients, and we expect the same in return. A late fee of $25 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay on client’s end. We set a start and end time for each wedding and/or appointment, and we require those to be met in order to complete all services requested, by the required end time. This means that all those receiving a service must be present at the get ready location and the agreed upon start times set, or the late fees incur, and we do not guarantee completed services by the end time should members of the party be tardy. There will be no refunds given. If there is extra time at the end, the artist(s) will attempt to finish the late client, as timeline allows. The artist is not responsible in any way for unfinished makeup or hair services due to the client or members of their group being late.
appointment policy
Due to the nature of our services, vary schedules and working by appointment only, we require partial payment up front. To secure an appointment, you must fill out our CC authorization form to hold your spot. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup appointments will only be reserved when the form is filled out and signed. Your card will be charged for half your appointment cost if you do not show up for your appointment or if you cancel 48 hours or less before. If canceled 24 hours or less the full amount will be charged. Under special circumstances your payment will be refunded at the discretion of Vancouver Mobile Makeup + Hair.
GRAD POLICY
For all Grad appointments a service contract and 50% non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking. No appointments will be made until both are received.
TRIAL RUN POLICY
A Preview session ("Trial run through") is included in the bride's services. Preview sessions are done in studio, Mon-Thurs. 9am to 5 pm. Mobile options are available for select days/times, based on our bookings. Additional fees may apply for on-location sessions.
This session is important for our Bride's, and as such longer in length over standard appointments. It is to ensure your artist for the day understands your desired look, as well as go through all other details pertaining to your specific day.
A outside trial run appointment, does not guarantee a booking for an event if you opt for a trial beforehand. We do not reserve or hold a date on our calendar until a retainer and signed contract is received. If you prefer to book a session before booking, please be aware that your event date is not guaranteed. Regular session fees with apply, and sessions typically book 4-8 weeks out, as our clients BOOKED, receive first priority for their sessions.

Travel/Hotel policy
Travel is included with our Bridal options, and our local service areas, up to 50km, 75km, or 100km (Based on options chosen) Locations outside the travel pre-allotted within your package will incur a fee of $1.00/km round trip per artist.
Locations outside our area, and/or more than 1.5 hours away, custom travel fess will be assessed based on the individual location being requested, for on-site services.
Hotel accommodation will be needed for locations more than 1.5 hours away and/or where start times are 6:30am or earlier. These options/fees will be discussed with the bride and Vancouver Mobile Makeup + Hair at time of booking and added to the final booking contract.

MINIMUM BOOKING POLICY
Due to the very high demand for on-location services; during peak Bridal Season (April - Oct) all Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays hold a service minimum to book, between our peak service hours of 5am to 4pm. Holidays, Long weekends, Out of area bookings and 'Specialty dates' hold a higher service minimum. Additional Travel fees/packages and/or children age 12 & under not included in minimums, but are always welcome for services! Please contact us for more information.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A client may cancel services at any time, however, the client will forfeit any and all retainers and/or payments made in relation to their date and appointment currently held on our artists calendar. In the event that an artist/stylist is unable to perform services for any reason including but not limited to; severe sickness, accident, weather/travel conditions, etc…reasonable accommodations shall be made including a full refund for services not rendered.
additional + GENERAL INFO
For parties of 4 or more, and/or 6 services+, a secondary artist will be brought in for an additional $150 flat fee. Secondary artists may be brought in and/or recommended based on clients individual day-of needs, timelines, and their service requests.
Such as, but not limited to; timeline constraints due to venue access, leave times, and/or photo needed. Beauty service needs for our larger groups and/or early morning clients (We often custom build entire beauty teams as needed) etc. This is discussed at time of booking, based on current details and/or group sizes/services, and what we can do to make your day as stress free and successful as we can.
Early morning fees may apply for services/travel before 7am, and requests outside of standard business hours. Per artist on site.
If you would like an artist to stay after the initial application, and after your contract ends, it will be at a rate of $100/per artist per hour. If you desire this add on service, it must be booked in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute requests for this service.
